While facing the locked cage, Mask #3 is the second mask from the right.

Number the four hanging targets from left to right while you are facing the locked cage. Do not number them from the clue side of the room. Reversing that viewpoint makes the published 3-4-1-2 sequence look wrong.

What If the Cage Does Not Open?
- Shoot the hanging masks above the cage, not the illuminated clue masks.
- Use the Oni Bow.
- Number the targets left to right while facing the cage.
- Enter the full sequence 3 → 4 → 1 → 2.
- A wrong sequence resets, allowing the four-shot sequence to be entered again.
The cage opens after the full correct sequence. Do not assume the puzzle failed simply because the first shots do not trigger a large reaction.
