Requirement and tracking-status guide
How to Complete Chapter 2 Challenge 6 in Halloween: The Game
Two independent public gameplay videos show the same objective: complete Chapter 2 without alerting anyone. Approach Eric, Tanya and Rachel from behind, keep their detection indicators from turning red, isolate each target before attacking and finish the chapter. This route is public-gameplay verified, but the videos do not expose a numeric build identifier.
Why now
A current achievement guide publishes a route while a dedicated game database still marks the accepted requirement TBD and launch reports describe tracking trouble.

Exact public-gameplay route
1. Start a fresh Chapter 2 run and confirm the displayed objective says to finish without alerting anyone. 2. Stalk Eric while concealed, wait until his back is turned, then grab and execute him from behind. 3. For Tanya, stalk from outside the store, switch off the power to draw her outside, then approach from behind and hide the body away from passersby. 4. Wait until Rachel is isolated in the cemetery, well away from the nearby resident, then grab her from behind and hide her body. 5. Use shift/concealment while moving back through exposed areas, finish the level and remain through the completion screen.
The “surprise” XP notice is a useful confirmation of a clean approach, but one successful video notes it may not be strictly required. The stronger failure signal is a target’s detection indicator turning red or another resident witnessing the attack.
What can invalidate the attempt?
An alerted target, a red detection indicator or a nearby resident witnessing an attack can invalidate the no-alert attempt. The two videos agree on isolating all three targets and attacking from behind; exact AI timing can vary between runs.

Challenge 6 not unlocking?
The official September 5 Early Access Hotfix 1 says several challenge-tracking issues were fixed, without naming Challenge 6. Separate a route failure from a tracking failure: first confirm nobody was alerted, then capture whether the completion state changed. A retry is reasonable; repeated attempts are not a guaranteed fix.
Retry now or wait?
Retry once after a clean restart when the objective was clearly met. If it still fails, preserve the build number and wait for a patch or official clarification rather than inventing a hidden condition.
Public gameplay and official Hotfix 1 were reviewed on September 8, 2026. The sources do not expose a numeric build, so this page does not claim one.
